Real-time systems,
applied to autonomous sensing.
For thirty years we have built systems where software, electronics and data have to work together: fast, precise and reliable. Netten Systems writes the real-time software and builds the hardware it runs on. Today we apply that in two areas: detecting drones by sound, and autonomous unmanned aircraft built to observe for hours at a time.
SonicEye — before a drone is visible, it is audible.
Pilot program openThe system detects drones by the sound they make. A network of high-sensitivity probes analyses the signal in real time, and machine learning helps identify what produced it. The system is entirely passive. It emits nothing, so it never gives away its own position.
- Passive by design — zero emissions, 24/7 listening
- Signal-level precision — real-time spectral and temporal analysis
- Classification on the probe itself — not in a data centre; it raises an alert only after a confirmed detection
- Two variants — fixed civilian installation, and a mobile specialist version with zero RF emissions
HC Wing "Flat Goose" — long-endurance autonomous observation.
Prototype built · flight test campaign aheadAn unmanned flying-wing aircraft, designed for long autonomous observation missions. Intended uses include maritime search-and-rescue support in the Baltic, environmental monitoring, surveillance and mapping. The fuselage itself is a flat lifting surface, which is where the name came from.
- Proprietary autopilot and full software stack — networking, autonomy, sensor integration — developed in-house by Netten Systems
- Same real-time distributed core as SonicEye
- Deliberately European-sourced components — for supply-chain security

Technology for real-time interactive worlds.
Available for licensing and partnershipOur own software for building large online interactive worlds. We developed this real-time distributed simulation technology over many years, and it became one of the foundations of the company. The same experience with distributed, real-time, high-concurrency systems now goes into sensor networks and autonomous systems.
Three decades of experience in real-time systems.
Netten Systems has spent about thirty years building large-scale real-time systems. Our experience is with systems where many parts have to run at once and stay synchronised, responsive and reliable. We now apply that to acoustic detection and autonomous observation. Our principle is simple: tests and data matter more than marketing claims.
